Our firm was formed on August 3, 2005 as a result of strategic alliance between Ho and Ho & Company in Hong Kong, and ShineWing Certified Public Accountants in Beijing, China. This strategic alliance has created the largest domestic professional services organization in both China and Hong Kong. It was also the first Chinese accounting and consulting firm fully certified to operate in both areas, signifying a great leap for the financial and accounting industries in the PRC.Under this new capacity, we serve as the Hong Kong branch office in support of SHINEWING Certified Public Accountants’ China operations. At the same time, we act as the frontline representative for SHINEWING Certified Public Accountants in pursuing international business. As the largest domestic accounting and consulting firm, we are providing the most sought-after services favored by large private companies and state enterprises. Our offices are spread across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Pakistan, Egypt and China (including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Qingdao, Chengdu, Xi’an, Changsha, Changchun, Yinchuan, Kunming, Jinan, Dalian, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Nanjing, Urumqi, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Taiyuan, Chongqing, Nanning and Hefei). Today, SHINEWING employs over 5,000 people worldwide, and around 300 staff in the Hong Kong office.
The former entity of the Hong Kong member firm, Ho and Ho & Company was founded in 1978 by Mr, Stuart Ho in Hong Kong. We started as a CPA firm focusing on audit and accounting support for local small and medium companies, as well as Hong Kong branches of international firms and Chinese enterprises.
While we consistently put effort into improving the scope and quality of our services, within three years of our start-up, in 1981, we attained qualification to offer assurance services and IPO advisory services to Hong Kong listed companies. Since then, we have grown our business considerably.Our founder, Mr. Stuart Ho has long held the vision for cross border integration between Hong Kong and China. As early as 1990, we were providing professional training for CICPA in Hong Kong. In 1997, we gained further certification from CICPA to provide assurance services to listed B-share companies in China’s Exchanges, and H-share companies in Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
